Before the meeting commenced the Councillors, Officers and members of the public held a minutes silence in remembrance of the Honorary Town Freeman, Ruth Glenn, who recently passed away. Prayers and blessings were held by Father Dane.
MEETING COMMENCED: 19:30
Two members of the public wished to speak on 22/03450/HYB Broom Hill Site, London Road, Swanley, Kent as appeared in the Minutes of 13th February. The Chair of the meeting made allowance for them to comment on this non-agenda item. It was asked what Swanley Town Council’s response was to the proposal. It was confirmed that, as per the minutes, STC had said no objection subject to:-
• Receiving a satisfactory KCC highways report.
• Receiving a no objection Environmental Health report.
• National Highways receiving a satisfactory construction traffic management plan.
• The closing hours being reduced from 11.00pm to 10.00pm.
• All store deliveries including arrival and departure times to be within the store opening times.
The members of the public confirmed that this response answered all the questions they had at the time.
