Q&A session:
Cllr M Horwood asked how many additional spaces will be available in the North of the Carpark. Alistair Close confirmed: 41 additional spaces.

Cllr L Ball asked how long the store would be closed when the upgrade is taking place. Richard Khodabakhsh confirmed: no more than five weeks.

Cllr L Dyball asked whether the entrance from St Mary’s Road will be changed. Richard Khodabakhsh explained that the new route will be clearer and will avoid cars spinning around and exiting onto St Mary’s Road.

Cllr M Horwood asked if the lighting can be turned off after 22:00 or change the lighting so it does not impact the residents of the flats. Richard Khodabakhsh said the lighting will be drastically improved.

Cllr M Horwood asked if he could put them in contact with the Chair of Residents Association. Richard Khodabakhsh confirmed: yes and the CEO will put them in contact.

Cllr P Darrington asked what the timescales would be for the new improvement. Richard Khodabakhsh confirmed six to seven months with minimal disruption to customers.

Cllr G Darrington questioned whether the new layout would obstruct the entrance to the Recreation Ground. Alistair Close confirmed: all existing pedestrian access will be retained.

Cllr C Barnes was concerned about the increase in the trolleys, as this is a big problem in Swanley.

Richard Khodabakhsh said he did not realise it was a problem and will take this away and discuss with his Manager and report back to the CEO.
