Swanley Community Tennis

The first Swanley Community Tennis Open Day was held on the 4th July 2021.

The Mayor of Swanley, Cllr Paul Darrington was asked to attend and had the pleasure of cutting the ribbon.

Speaking at the event Cllr Paul Darrington said “this new facility is exactly what Swanley needs and was very impressed with the enthusiasm demonstrated by all”.

The community came out in force to attend and were given the opportunity to try their hand at playing tennis.

The coaching team from NB Tennis were on hand and provided a wide array of free coaching sessions, ranging from mini tennis for young children right through to standard matches for adults.

In addition to this, family tennis sessions were offered alongside adult cardio tennis.

Swanley Town Council has gone into partnership with NB Tennis and are now able to offer a comprehensive and affordable tennis programme in Swanley.

A season ticket costs just £35.00 for the whole family, and this runs annually from 1st April.

The courts in St Mary’s Road are the only ones to have floodlight facilities in a 10 mile radius, allowing for more game time all year round.
