Swanley Town Council’s Park has continued further upgrades on its facilities during lockdown by improving its toilet block.
Long queues for using the toilet facilities in the park were once a regular scene on a summers day and the previous facilities required modernisation.
The Town Council have also added a new disabled facility which will soon include adult and baby changing facilities to facilitate even more visitors.
Park Manager George Brooker who project managed this development said “We are delighted to open these new facilities to our visitors. Our goal is to constantly look towards the next improvement for the benefit of our guests.”
The Park has only been back in control of the town council for the last 3 years and significant progress has been made in improving its facilities.
Park and Open Spaces Director Ryan Hayman said; “This was always on our schedule to be completed this summer and over the coming winter we will complete the other toilet blocks to the same standards.
We are happy to be an inclusive park, with the new disabled friendly toilet fitting together with our playground and pool upgrades which are also disabled user friendly’.
There are other exciting changes coming to Swanley Park, which has already seen the opening of 10 new attractions over the past 2 years”.
