The Barclays team is holding a ‘Tea and Teach’ event to help people to stay safe online and to understand the different ways of accessing their finances.
Barclays experts will be on hand to explain and demonstrate online, mobile and telephone banking, also to explain the use of the Post office, debit cards, cashback and contactless.
People can bring along their smart phones or tablets if they need any help in setting up online or mobile banking.
At the same time, there will be a Digital Safety session where people can learn to protect themselves from financial fraud and scams.
The session will be led by a Barclays Digital Eagle, a specially trained member of Barclays staff.
The event will cover a range of techniques that people can use to protect themselves from fraud in this digital age.
Everyone is welcome to attend the Tea and Teach and the Digital Safety event whether they are a Barclays customer or not.
There is no need to book, just turn up on the day.
