A20 junction with Button Street, Farningham

Kent County Council have made the decision to withdraw the Experimental scheme on the A20 junction with Button Street, Farningham and revert the junction back to the original road layout.

This is mainly due to technical issues with the recently installed barrier.

We are in liaison with our contractor and the work is programmed to commence on Wednesday 8th November 2017 and will be undertaken at night between the hours of 21:00 to 05:00 until Friday 10th November.

This will involve lane closures and a full road closure of the A20 London Road at its junctions with Button Street, London Road, Teardrop Centre roundabout and the roundabout junction with the A225.

If you normally use this section of road, please use the diversion route whilst the works are carried out.

The diversion route will be signed on the following roads:
