Carol has lived in Swanley since 1973.  She has two sons.

Carol has been an active member of many groups trying to deal with making a safe and healthy community and is a trustee for the Volunteer Centre.

Carol is very community minded and works to make Swanley a good place to live. 

Connie has lived in Swanley for three years having previously lived in Bromley. She moved to the area to be nearer her family and she has five children and ten grandchildren.

Connie has done voluntary work for the Red Cross for over ten years and is also a care worker. She is also a member of the local Womens Institute and Churches Together.

She enjoys walking and entertaining.

David was a National trade union officer for 27 years in the timber and furniture trade.

He is the Secretary and founder member of Swanley Athletic Club and a member of the Sevenoaks District Sports Council.

David is a former school governor and a previous member of Woolwich Borough Council, the London Borough of Greenwich and Sevenoaks District Council of which he was the Chairman in 1996.

Stephen has served as a doctor to the people of Swanley for over 30 years. Stephen joined the army upon leaving school and served with the Royal Tank Regiment. He subsequently trained to be a doctor at Guy's hospital. Stephen is interested in the upkeep of the town and the local environment.

Ian is a consultant providing advice on Government, industrial and stakeholder relations, specialising in the transport sector. He is an associate member of the Waterfront Partnership and has provided advice at Director level to Transport for London (Rail), Docklands Light Railway, Mersey Travel, National Express, Ned Railway, East London Buses and KBR (Rail).

From 1992 -1999 he was an industrial relations policy advisor at ASLEF and is a member of the GMB Trade Uniuon, The Co-operative Group, The Better Transport Campaign, SERA and the Labour Research Department.

His interests include, walking, swimming, kayaking and caving.

Janet was born in Swanley Village and has lived in each of the four wards of Swanley Parish. Janet now lives in Swanley White Oak Ward with her husband Brian who has now retired from his role at the Ministry of Defence establishment at Fort Halsted. Janet has two sons, a stepson, and five grandchildren.
